Items that should not be missing on your website

Having a website is not enough to achieve results on theinternet regardless of the size or turn of your company, you must go beyond having a nice "electronic brochure" to get results through it.

The objective of a web page is to show your product / service to a market specialized in “online search” and motivate it to know you more, to create confidence, to test what you do and finally to encourage it to purchase.

You cannot achieve this if what you have on your website is a static site where nothing new happens, where you don't have much to do or it is simply too simple to bother reading it.

In addition to this, it is vital that your website is optimized to convert its visitors into leads with whom you can then work on email marketing campaigns. Come on! What is the use of carrying traffic if you cannot capitalize on “conversions”?

Here I leave five elements that should not be missing on any website to make it more attractive to its visitors and more strategic in search of conversions.

1. Items that show your product / service.
You must include who you are, what you offer, what your advantages and differences are. Try to talk in terms of benefits, not just enumerate the characteristics that distinguish you. Be creative with these elements, don't use too much text, people actually read little, get their attention using images, demos, videos, downloads, tutorials or a section of frequently asked questions.

2. Contact Form.
It cannot be missing on your website, and you must distribute it throughout the route that your visitors take, that is, place it in different sites, at home, in your blog, at the bottom of your page, etc. It is really easy and natural for the visitor to contact you from wherever you are on your website. I recommend that your contact form be linked to your ESP (Email Service Provider) account so that your database is ready for your email marketing campaigns. I recommend Mailchimp or Aweber.

3. Elements that generate trust.
The basis of any relationship is in "trust" and therefore it is very important that your website contains elements that help the visitor to know the type of business you are, your reputation and experience. Include testimonials, guarantees, tell your story and experience, mention your current clients, and talk about your security terms. Remember to be varied and creative in your elements, using only text can be boring for some visitors, integrates videos and presentations.

4. Elements of participation.
The longer you get your visitors to stay on your website, the more likely you are to "fall in love" with your product / service, so give them what to do on your website, through a blog, forums, surveys or promotions in social networks.

5. Subscription Incentives.
This element is essential in a “conversion” strategy, since we need the largest possible number of visitors to leave your email to be able to continue with them through email marketing campaigns. To do this, one of the strongest strategies is to offer them a "subscription incentive" in exchange for their email. This must be extremely attractive and depending on your product / service it can be an e-book, a free download, a report, a free trial or a newsletter. Also remember to connect this subscription with your ESP service here.

Finally I recommend that in each and every one of these elements do not stop using the “keywords” with which your market searches the Internet for products / services like yours, this is essential for your site to be optimized and well positioned in search engines like Google.
